Question stereo install help.....plz!

i just got an alpine ida-x100. i ordered the scosche single din dash kit. do i need anything else to wire this/install it? i know hot to d/c and remove the dash/radio, but how do i wire the new stereo..??


any help would be greatly appreciated.

thx. the tutorial there relates that tacotunes provides a wiring harness w/ their kit. i ordered the scosche kit from a diff. retailer. if it doesn't come w/ a wiring harness does that mean ill be unable to hook up my new head unit?

you need a wiring kit, unless you wanna go the bubba route and cut off the connectors from the truck.

yup. that's what i'm using. i orded my stereo from them and they sent along a wire kit

no, non JBL and i have the peripheral ipod cable hooked up in the 6cd slot.


so i have: alpine ida-x100
silver scosche dash single din kit

i havent rcvd it yet, but nowhere does it mention a wiring harness included in the description of the sale. i also only paid 25 for it new, so i doubt it.

yea, for $25 can't see it including to much.
tacotunes.com kits includes tool kit, crimpers, crimps and the wire harness plus the step by step makes it pretty much fool proof.

Lots of happy campers . . .

Anyhow just thought the instructions would help you out.
