Remote starter for 2007 manual shift camry

Guys, you have been helpful in the past and i am looking to you once again for some advice. I am looking for a remote starter for my 2007 camry ce with a 5 speed manual shift transmission. Can anyone recommend a good brand and or model number and maybe give me some insight as to how long this will take me to install. Thanks in advance.

CompuStar , DEI Viper, Clifford, AudioVox EBay has some good deals going on the compustar remote starts for manual transmissions. , anywhere form 40-80.00 depending what you get.

if your installing this yourself. you might want to stay away from DEI, viper etc products and compustar they don’t provide much support in the DIY area, just for dealers not to mention your DEI and compustar warranty will be void if you do it yourself with dei or compustar products.

if a shop is doing it. DEI or compustar great, and you get a warranty. if you’re getting this from a dealer install shop you better back that installer into the corner before you leave the shop to explain all the functions of it. don’t just get in your car and leave like they want you too.

Audiovox is very good also for the DIY you get the warranty and support also exchanges if needed. The Audiovox products will stand up to any DEI viper, or compustar. You get a lot for the money form Audiovox. I have one in my suburban. Better than the new viper.

Depends on your electrical experience. If your very good about 2 hours. if you’re a shade tree electrician about 4-5 hours , maybe a weekend. If you never done this before leave it to the pros; you might damage something. Also get a good digital meter you will need it. make sure it also does auto ranging.
