huge question for true bass heads...

im looking for a clear crisp yet hard hitting deep bass....

which one of the two would you recommend

a 15" will sound sloppy. It will not be crisp. Go for dual 12"s if you want it to hit hard and still sound crisp.

Or even dual 10"s would be good enough if there is enough wattage supplied.

not necessarily, i've heard 15'' subs sound just as crisp and clean as a pair of 10'' subs. you just need to make sure that you can build a box to spec with the sub. I'd take the Fi BL over the Alpine Type-R any day. Make sure you get dual 1 ohm voice coils so you can wire it up to 2 ohms

X2 on the 15's,I say be different try the Fi sub.I had a SSD once & it sounded great.

Personally I think a good poted box with a single 12" will work right so long as you use the correct RMS for the suba and don't put to much power through it. I would use a Kicker 12" L7 ported and it powered by either a Kicker 750.1 or Rockford Fosgate BD1000.1 and it will bang.
