Post anyone know about fm modulators or RF changers

Through a little surfin', I found out through crutchfield that there are certain adapters, like fm modulators and Rf changers that you can hook up to your after factory cd changer to make it work with your factory head unit. anyone out there with any sort of knowledge about this, would be mucho aprreciated. Plus, how would i find out which is compatible with toyota radio/cassette(factory installed) and alpind cd player(after factory)? Could I just call a local installer, and would they know or would they try to ,yeah know? Maybe I could check with the BBB to see if any in my area are listed with them, just to make sure
so...... anyone out there readin' this, give me a few ideas, pointers, or even a Phyl

Tthey use something called interfaces which are cd changer/car brand specific. I don't know too much about them but at work we carry things like Ford/Alpine and Pioneer/Chrysler interfaces... something like that anyway. Not all RF changes can be directly linked.
