Sirius Install on Camry Hybrid

I have a TCH with the JBL audio system, NAV minus. The JBL is satellite ready but needed either the XM or Sirius receiver installed. I opted for Sirius as I already have an account with them and like their programming better than XM.

The dealer didn't have a problem putting in a Sirius receiver although the 'installer dude' got it wrong from the get go.... they blindly installed the Toyo option XM system rather than reading the work order..... The Sirius tuner was installed and the system works fine except that the JBL screen does not scroll.

I called Directed Electronics and got no answer.... apparently they don't know, or won't tell, if their product is the Toyo OEM offering. I can't believe they wouldn't know that they OEM their product to Toyo....

Can anyone tell me if the Toyota 'OEM' Sirius tuner is made by "Directed Electronics?" I'm thinking the OEM set up is a TOY-SC1 adapter and SC-C1 tuner.

Again, the reason for asking is that the JBL does not scroll the stations and artists/tunes as I think it should. The Directed product has a 'dip' switch setting to 'scroll' the JBL's display. If it does have a scroll setting I'm going to take it back to the TOY store and have them do it right.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!
