I have a pair of 3-way Visonik 6X9's in the rear powered by 40W RMS each. I got them because they were on sale at Pep Boys ($29) and they supposedly handle 120W RMS each. The sound decent, especially since they're amped.

I'm wondering how would the Alpine Type-S 6X9's compare. They're on sale at Crutchfield, but they onl handle 50W RMS each. Just wanted opinions about the quality of those brands.

I thought Visonk was a really economy brand. Well, I guess so is Alpines Type-S line. If you look at the specs and see what has a higher effciency ratting and other things, then the choice would be clear.

Actually I just put in a set of Alpine Type-S 6x9s, and I thought they sounded alright for the 50 bux. Prolly kick the butt of the Visonk too.
