How much are you going to spend and are you looking at a SPL or SQ setup?

For subs, I recommend Image Dynamics ID or if you want more of a SQ setup maybe an IDQ.

Ive never heard of Image Dynamics, but 10"s are too small IMO. I have 2 12"s.

I'd say for the Image Dynamics ID10 or ID12. If you only get one, go with a single 12 in a sealed enclosure and give it 250-300W RMS.

I had a 2000 Camry and I had a single sealed 12 with 300W RMS and it was plenty loud to hear and feel within the car. With the doors and windows closed, it was inaudible from more than 20 ft or so.

I highly suggest getting a 4 channel amp for all the door speakers too. pumping each speaker 50+ watts will get you plenty volume and clarity, more so than most/any head unit will provide. If you really want some nice sound quality purchase another 4 channel amp to bi amp your components.

Or use a single 4 channel amp and have an bi-amped stereo setup instead of quadraphonic, its up to you.
