1993 LS400 Sound System
One day we hooked up a aftermarket sub to the Lexus Sound System Sub and after a few minutes blasting it we here pop and the speakers were still playing but the sub was like moving up and down. Thinking it was the amp my cousin took out his amp and got this Car Audio guy who has a shop to fix it and he installed it back and now his speakers playyy buuut it tends to skip while playing(not ur cd skip just like u dont hear a word or 2 and then it comes back on)for some reason.
So now we're like screw this and so my cousin bought after market everything to put in, speakers amps, subs,deck and wants to know how to install it ?
How is he going to power his aftermarket amp?
What is he gonna do with his stock amp for the speakers?
Should he still use the stock amp?
If you've had this skipping problem could you be able to tell if the stock deck is causing the speakers to skip or if its still the amp?
