Will After Market Speakers Void My Toyota Warranty?

New 2008 HL, factory stereo and speakers, not JBL, sound bad.
If I have new speakers installed, what happens to my warranty with Toyota?

NO!

Under federal law the dealer cannot void the warranty unless they can prove whatever you did caused the problem you want fixed under warranty. And this voiding is limited to that specific item not the complete car.

In reality the dealer can put off or decline doing warranty repairs if they think you help caused the problem with your mods even if they did not.

A new radio is not something that should concern the dealer. However if you put in a 20KW amp and 25 inch speakers the result being the electrical system malfunctions due to overload or poor wiring don't expect Toyota to fix the problem under warranty.
