Hey guys, new here, I have try the search but nothing specific for the 08 camry. Anyone with a DIY on removing the stock radio, want to replace with a NAV/DVD unit that I got from e-bay.

Aw man I wish I took pics for a DIY when I did mine. It is fairly simple, if your planning on putting in a aftermarket headunit, when you buy your dash-kit it should come with instructions. It is pretty simple.

Simple is an understatement.

Tearing down the center console is hardly simple.

It only sounds simple.
Remove the two side trim pieces next to the storage box in front of the shifter.
Lift up the console near the cup holder or parking brake and pull the whole thing out.
Unscrew console box and remove.
Remove upper vents
Undo 4 bolts and the radio and heat controls come out as one
