Pioneer Avic Hack

Does anyone know how to make the unit so i can use the options that arent available unless the car isnt moving and the parking brake is on? if i'm not mistaken can't you just match the voltage from the speed sensor wire when the car is stopped and just ground/give power to the parking break lead? any help would be appreciated

Thanks!

As someone who has to drive on the roads as well, there are very few reasons for doing this that aren't completely unsafe and idiotic. Most legitimate car audio sites also have an explicate rule against discussing this. I really hope there's a better reason behind this than for you to watch movies while driving.

I'm glad, because I've seen far too many people who are that stupid. It also seems like a bad move by the manufacturer to disable these items as well, do the give a reason for them being disabled?

I bought a video bypass chip for my pioneer AVH-41000DVD on eBay for $37, I don't have to deal with toggle switches or anything. Really makes highway driving a lot better for the passengers.
