04 Camry JBL

I have an 04 Camry wif the JBL 8 speaker system...

seems it sound pretty good at a moderate level... but turn it up and it gets mushy bass...

It's not loud enough!!! turn it all the way up ...seems it should go a little more!! wat gives!!

JBL isn't known for quality speakers. The distortion you are hearing or the mushy sound will eventually blow out your speakers if you continue to play it at that level. If you're looking for louder speakers and more bass you should consider upgrading your system.

actually jbl makes some good subs

and the reason your speakers sound that way is because 95% of stock stereos suck

actually, JBL makes good everything.....just not the ones that you get stock tho.....they're about the same as the cheap $100 6x9 speakers that you can buy at bestbuy.....

you gotta go at least the power series (semi-pro)....and if you have the money...their GTi (competition) series....something like, 500 just for the front components and they also have a 6000w sub amp that sells for like, 6K

JBL is the same company as Infinity... so is Harman-Kardon

JBL has some pretty powerful amps, but Infinity no longer makes amps. I don't really have much experience with JBL products but judging from what I've heard and knowing their made by the same company as Infinity, they're pretty good for the money.

The sond quality sounds pretty nice in my Solara with the JBL stock sound system. Clear, and i think VERY nice bass for being stock. (Being stock darnit)

But one blew like two days ago after having the car for about 3 years now.

i like a bassy sound... so i will be looking a different speakes first off... then a head unit down the road....


this damn car is taking m money away from my bike!!
