I actually end to go to Best Buy--there are a few around where I live that have pretty big car audio sections (along with a bunch of other random car stuff--which Circuit City is doing now as well...they have freakin CAIs for sale). Their sale prices are great and they tend to have a good selection. Sales guys, at least around here, know what they're talking about. They do, however, try to talk you into their whole warranty/let us install it bit.

You can get parts from authorized dealers and get a legal-style invoice from the dealer you buy it from and have a standard warrenty. I have done this my self, and had to replace parts in the past, via the manufacturer and had no hassles.
i know they have deals....but....well...anyway......best buy is junk.....u pay way too much for the stuff there.....but the warranty is good ill give u that.......and circuit city is startin to turn around........too bad the people that work in audio have no idea what they r sayin......i have fun goin in there with my boys and askin them questions that i know the answers to, and they have no idea.........try it somtime........better than sex
....sike

damn, i feel bad. i don't know "any ting" bout them speakers, and they feed me all this bull shit.
You guys ever heard this stupid a$$ sales pitch???
"They're awsome man, I got a set of these my self in my trunk"
Fuck, i hear them last week from a jewelery sales man bout a MOVADO watch, to buying speakers from both Circuit & Best B's all the way to my friend who wanted to sell his friends dvd. Guess what, my friend had the same DVD as his otehr friend. F'in liers. ALl of yah sales people. plain Liers
I bought a kicker amp off eBay, and one of the mosefet circuits blew a few months later. I contacted the seller, iKesound, and he just asked me to email him a copy of the reciept, and then ship him the busted unit. I had to pay for out going shipping, but he paid for the return.
The trick is that most of the real low prices are accually online stores that use eBay as a front. Most have a return and warrenty policy like any other place.

<points and laughs at all people that go to bestbuy and circuit city... lol
Like i said before if u live in ny or close to it i can tell u a place in manhattan, canal st to be exact... the only thing i buy in best buy are dvd's and sometimes im tentative to do that cuzz half.com has better prices most of the time... they give u a 1 yr warranty... also thats where i got some of my stuff and i was kinda worried at first cuzz it was too good to be tru, but nothing they have is deffective...
ex: my friend and i bought a an infinity speaker...and we thought it was the right size but it wasnt...so we brought it there 10sec later we got the right speakers...
i used to work in the wiz, and all these stores are the same...they give the msrp and u think ur gttin a deal at 10% off...if u dont mind splurging the money i guess go ahead they do good jobs and warrantys there sh1t... but all they really have are like basic stuff... i'll give em one thing, bestbuy carried dynamats way before it became commercialized....
