Running multiple monitors off of headunit

Hey guys,
Im in the process of setting up my mobile video in the car. I just got my deck,, video amplifier and my headrest monitors. Quick question how should I go about powering the headrest monitors. Should I just tap into the power wire for the video amplifier or run seperate power for the monitors. Also do I need to install a in line fuse and if so can you recommend what size and where to get it.
Thanks
-Drew

What you can do is use a relay, tap of the blue (remote) wire from your head unit to trigger the relay. The relay will require a power source to provide for the video amp and screens. I would definitely use an inline fuse. If you have a digital multimeter test each component for their individual current draw. Add them together and that will tell you what size fuse to use. You can also try using the link below, hope this helps.
