Question V-Drive Decks Power and Deck Decision

Alright....I'm planning on getting new deck for my car. But I can't decide between which deck. I was debating between these three:

Alpine CDA-9813

Alpine CDA-9815

Alpine CDA-7995

I wanted to stick with the overall "green" illumination so I am kinda leaning towards the 9813...but I can be swayed other ways if you guys think something is better. I was wondering if the V-Drive system from Alpine really makes the much of a difference...and is it true that you gotta rig that sucker up to the battery? I am looking for a good amout of ease of use and a High quality dependable player. I want a good amount of features and just the ablility to play mp3's...If i ever needed to. Just seeing what your guy's opinions were on these decks and whatnot. TIA

The CDA7995 is ONLY a preamp deck, so you will need to get external amps for it to work. Visit your local Tweeter to get it for $299.95.

On the 9815, there is a tag to wire up the 12V constant to a high current source, meaning, the 12V source in the steering column. The display is "busy," so it's advised to not connect it to the regular 12V in the dash. But the other two can use the 12V in the dash.

If you like the green color then just buy the 9813. Its just as good as the 9815 but cheaper. The V-drive 60watt amp is clean and powerful. Enough for daily, non-competition type use. I wouldnt get the 7995 because it seems outdated already (unless you could get it at a really cheap price).
