Blown speakers (Nooooooooooooo!)

I just recently put in a set of JVC 2ways. They've sounded great up untill the last week or so. It sounds like there's no more bass (or a lot less). The weird thing is, I've never had them to the point of destortion, and all my settings are still the same... Can speakers blow without ever having them very loud? Also, would the cold weather affect this at all? I'm freaking out cause these are basically brand new. Help!

Check your wires and connections, then see if something is infact wrong with your speakers.

Ok feel free to delete this thread. One of the wires going into the driver's side speaker came off. I'm dumb.

oh shiz.

Lol

Mine too. I had my car sit in the snow for like a week, then I drove it for the weekend, and then come to find out, the speaker sounds all distorted and blown. Toyota is gonna look at it on Saturday. It's the rear right side JBL 6x9 that came with the Premium package SOlara.
