Securikey+ Alarm needs programming
Need to program a working at8e model fob!!!
Hello, I have a 2002 Toyota 4Runner that has the Securikey+ alarm & remote starter. It has a 5-button fob (the key is not part of the alarm) and the FCC iD is AT8E...based on other posts I am assuming it is ELVAT8E but I cannot confirm that. The imprint on the fob board has AT8E on it.
The alarm worked great until someone screwed with the valet switch when the car was on, so it is not an alarm failure.
The instructions online to click valet 6 times and set each one channel by channel does not work! The only thing it managed to do was get my headlights to turn on when you hit unlock and get the rear window to slide down when you hit the green button.
