Why not just listen to them yourself with your own music? That would be the best judgment. I'm sure either brand would sound good as long as it's used in a properly built box.
For subs with me it's allways been kicker or bust. I started off with some CompVRs and they pruduce an amazing amount of bass for the price. Infact they are one of the best ones to do SPL competitions with. But i've traided up to the SoloBaric L7 line and those are even better. I'd take the CompVRs over RF anyday.

what if i get a 2 channel amp? what should i get and ohh yeah, if i got the RF amp the bass boost knob would fit in my change holder in my 92 camry by the passenger side door. just wanted to let u know that.

bass boost doesn't do anything more than raise the bass level and distort it a hell of a lot. i would sugest getting a class D amp. Mono block would be your best bet.
