cant decide on door componets

I'm replacing the front components in my 98 Avalon and I'm having trouble choosing between 5.25" Alpine SPX-13REF or JL Audio VR525-CSi, I'm leaning toward the Alpine cause I have a feeling they will take a bigger beating than the JL.

Any words of wisdom?

Are you running an aftermarket amp? if so what is the rated RMS power?

And those these are great brands, try looking into a brand called HERTZ

They are an Italian Brand, but they are phenomenal. Very smooth top end and killer mid-bass on the bottom end.

These would be great if you are running an aftermarket amp with decent

other good brands to look at are Morel, Dynaudio, Image Dynamics, CDT and DLS

If you are dead set on these two choices. go with the JL's as the Alpines tend to be a little lacking on the bottom end.
