Aftermarket alarm

I have a 2002 corolla with an aftermarket alarm installed in it. the ECU is underneath the seat and i was wondering if disconnecting the alarm is as simple as just unplugging the wires?

Would this cause me anymore problems than i already have with the stupid already?

Would i lose power locks if i disconnected it, and if i would could i rewire it so that i could still have power locks?

And any ideas of why i can only lock my doors and cannot unlock them from the inside control

Aftermarket alarms

It all depends on whether the car came with power locks. If you disconnected the harnesses it would disable the alarm, it would also not allow you to lock the vehicle from the remote. If power locks were stock on the vehicle, then you would still retain them. If not, you can keep them and would just need to install switches in the either the door or center console to lock and unlock the doors. Depends on how skilled you are at wiring, I have some diagrams for wiring windows, locks, and alarms.
