In general you would only want to have have 1 cap per amp, so if you got 2 amps, fork the wires, then run them into the caps before going into the amps.

Yeah wouldn't it cause excessive cap wear if you had 2 hooked up to one amp? cause the one hooked up to the amp would drain the other one whenever it charges up or something?

im running a total of 3 amps....and 1 dc to ac 400watts inverter hooked up with a ps2 if needed.

2 Jl audio e2150 and 1 Jl audip 500/1. i have one cap then its forked into the 3 amps and the invertor.. but when i play at high volumes i get flickers on my interior lights...

so running 2 of them would have a little more reserve power just in case my bass hits..i thought about the extra batt but with what i have its not really needed. I would have just bought 1 2 farad cap bit since i already had 1 i just bought another one so that it equals to 2 farad when hooked up together.

click on my www button and look at my solara page and system set-up.. i have a diagram of how i have it hooked up right now...

i just need to see how the setup is like a wire diagram. i want to be sure to have it hook up right..

most people say you only need 1 farad per 1000 watts RMS.. if that means anything

Wire the caps in parallel.

IE.... + of first cap to + on second cap. Same for the negative.
