I'm looking to avoid the suction method of mouting my radar detector and wanted to solicit some opinions.

Since I travel through VA a lot, I wanted to be able to take down the radar detector because they are illegal.

Does anyone know of any good mounts? I wanted a vent clip mount, but have been unsuccessful in finding one.

I know you are looking for mounting options but I would suggest ;ooking at a Valetine 1. I have it on a hidden mount and run through Va all the time without getting picked up. I've been doing this for over 2 years.

It's a little more expensive but it works better than my escort that gor confiscated.
