its' true alright, and word of warning, that amp sucks major...it's pretty pointless really, i ran my rears off it but the sounds sucked majorly so i upgraded to an Eclipse 4chan, i gotta say Eclipse isnt that bad....qualtiy and no bullshit

This is 4 channel sony amp. It drives my Kicker k65's and my K693's. its 75watt rms each channel, and sound quaility is great by my ears.




I used to have a sony 2ch 150rms amp for my old rockford subs, but I ditched it when I got my new subs and a Kicker 600 amp.

btw: I also have the new Sony P5's 12" subs. I was kind of skepitcal at first, being sony's previous crappy subs, but for 2 for 150, I had to get them. lemme tell ya... These things KICK ASS!

I can drive through any parking lot, crank things up and set off car alarms, just like the guy who buys JL W7's.

On the other hand, When I first got the car, I stuck some sony 6x9's in the rear, and within 6 months of having them, running off the deck, at 20watt mind you, they started getting fuzzy and crackled a bit. So i wouldnt recommend their speakers, but their new amps and subs are great.

Within 2 weeks of having the Cam, I blew the rear stock speaks and fuzzied the front

Good thing I bought new, the subs I have aren't the new P5, but older mobile es, and they kick-ass to me.
