Damn that thing looks great!
Subs and amp? Are they installed? What stereo do you have in now? If there installed using speaker outs for a source you will have to run RCA wires through your car to get proper control over it when your stereo is in.
I looked really hard and I couldn't find any picture threads on how to install a head unit in your vehicle, if all else fails spend $10 on one of these:
crutchfield master sheet. It's complete step by step instructions on your exact vehicle, everything from changing the stereo to adding aftermarket speakers. I've used them on some of the cars I've done and they were like a gift from god.
You will also need a new
plastic part that will go around where your old head unit was. It should run you about $15.
To wire the whole thing easily and cleanly you will need a
wiring harness for $10, it's not nessary but it will prevent you from making permanent modifications to your vechile as well as as save you about 45 minutes on the install time.
On the mastersheet, wiring harness, and plastic piece I selected that you had a 2002 Toyota Camry Sedan without Navigation system; without JBL audio system. If any of that's wrong, change it or it will not be compatible with your install.
Your going to need a
bypass chip or a toggle switch to play DVDs while driving, I would recommend the bypass chip as it will be so much less hassle. It's hard to make your stereo look good when you repeatedly are flipping a switch and counting. It's an extra $65 but it's soooo worth it. I used to have a 7" head unit in my car that had it and it made car trips so much better.
Yeah all this stuff totals up to $100 but if you would of gotten it done professionaly done they wouldn't of ever put a bypass chip in, which would of sucked. Not to mention it's still $45 less than what they quoted you.
