Need help/Problems with installing Dual XHD7714

Hey guys

i was wondering if you guys could help me with my installation. I wired everything together with a wiring harness for my Toyota Previa but when I start up the stereo, the speakers pop and whine. also when i start the engine, the sound becomes muffled at higher volumes (starts crackling). in addition to that, when i turn on the lights or use the power windows, it seems like the power is interrupted. i think it might be because i just twisted the wires together and wrapped it around with electrical tape. any ideas?

Take it all out and carefully do it again reading the wiring directions not by color, but the function of the wire. My first head unit was a Dual and sometimes they do things a bit differently. I wouldn't let this one wait a while either, you could be doing damage to your head unit & electrical system.
