First off does anyone have dei document 1041? Please send to steven@umd.edu
In the process of installing a cliffor matrix rsx 3.5 and id have say its hard as crap. I have every wire hooked in and the alarm seems to be kinda working. The led blinks and i get confirmation pages. I also got the remote start to kinda work except it doesnt crank for a long enough time. I tried to change the settings but it doesnt let me. When i try to enter the programming mode the led is supposed to blink but it doesnt. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Your best bet to get document #1041 is call them up and check, it is 21 pages, titled "Door Locking Systems Wiring Guide." Most likely, it's the typical Toyota unlocking mechanism that needs to diode isolate the regular and child safety unlock wires, if you have a 4-door.
Make sure the tachometer learn (purple) wire is connected properly. Relearn it again. Check all the connectors to the brain, making sure that the right colors all match up. Lastly, you didn't specify what year your car is, and that will make a difference.
Sorry completely forgot i have a 96 camry. I thought about calling them but the problem is that i am not an authorized retailer or installer and the person i bought the alarm from isnt authorized either. A few people got this document before and im hoping theyre still around.

I looked at the wiring diagram for your car, and there isn't anything out of the ordinary to hook it up. It's a bit tough to read, but reading from left to right: function, wire color, polarity, location. Notes are for the above function.
12volts white - white/red + ignition harness
Starter black/white + ignition harness
Second Starter
Ignition black/yellow + ignition harness
Second Ignition black/orange + ignition harness
Third Ignition
Accessory pink/blue + ignition harness
Notes: Not required for remote start.
Second Accessory
Keysense
Power Lock blue/white - passengers kick blue plug
Power Unlock lt. green/red - passengers kick blue plug
Lock Motor
Unlock Motor
Parking Lights+ green bottom of fuse box
Notes: In a white connector just below the fuses with the wires exiting out toward you.
Parking Lights- green steering column
Hazards
Turn Signal(L)
Turn Signal(R)
Reverse Light
Door Trigger red/white -
Notes: Remove black plastic air duct covering the top right side of the fuse box to access a 6 pin plug containing the red/white.
Dome Supervision
Trunk/Hatch Pin red/white - light or sw. in trunk
Notes: Tied in with the door trigger on the wagon models.
Hood Pin
Trunk/Hatch Release
Power Sliding Door
Factory Alarm Arm
Factory Alarm Disarm
Disarm No Unlock
Tachometer black or gray AC
Notes: On the 4 cylinder motor use the black wire. On the 6 cylinder motor use the gray wire. Both are located at the ignitor on the drivers side strut tower.
Wait to start
Brake Wire green/white + bottom of fuse box
Notes: In a white connector just below the fuses with the wires exiting out toward you.
Parking Brake
Horn Trigger green/black - steering column
Memory Seat 1
Memory Seat 2
Memory Seat 3
Immobilizer Bypass Module: Not Available
Make sure you have all the wiring correctly connected.
The codes for the door are not correct though. Also do i leave the wires for ignition and accessory connected and just splice in the wires from the remote start? I know the starter wire had to be cut but what about the rest? Thanks Luc and anyone else that tries to help.

Uh..what I posted IS from directech's resources. As far as I can tell, both are the same.
From Audiovox's resources, here is what they say about the door lock wires.
Power lock: dark green (-)
Power unlock: light green (-)
Child safety wire: red/green (-)
Have red/green tied to dark green: diode isolate. These may be located in the driver's kickpanel.
As a general rule of thumb, connect all the wires up. For the remote start relay pack: both red wires to high current 12V, pink for 1st ignition, pink/white for 2nd ignition, orange for accessory, purple to starter wire on the starter side. On the starter kill relay, make sure the green and black wires connect appropriately to the starter and key sides.
How do you like the alarm? I just ordered it directly from DEI and I am waiting for it to arrive. I have a 94 Camry and all. By the way how much did you pay for it? I was just wondering.
Do i keep the wires from the ignition from the key to the motor? and just splice in the remote start or do i cut the ignition wires and only have the remote start hooked in? The alarm has great range. I havent been really able to test it much because something is messed up. Id have to say you have to have alot of patience for this alarm cause its no easy deal. I have to give a big shout out to Kirk R. for providing me with vital information. Also a big shout out to everyone thats helped me in this. Gotta love this camry community.
