High Level (4 Wire Input) to W&R (2 wire)

How do you wire a 4 wire (two positive, two negative) from the stereo to the White and Red connectors on the amp. I broke the high level input and only have the option of making the red and white connectors to work. I have the red and white male plugs, but when i stripped them, there is a red white with wrap around it surrounded by loose wire, and then in the other one a white wire surrounded by loose wire. Any help?

You would need a SPEAKER to LINE LEVEL converter. The speaker voltage level is too high for the line level inputs on the amplifier. The converter reduces the level to an acceptable voltage. Here are some examples http://www4.shopping.com/xDN-car_aud...line_converter
