I don't have any experience with it, but from looking at it it looks a bit unpredictable. The first part of the insert would work as a loading wall, but only for half of the speaker cone, and the second part appears to be rather large and short for a port, I don't think it would work well with a large selection of drivers, and as an added bonus they have choked the end of the port, which is just asking for a large quantity of port noise.
Adjustable ported boxes aren't a new idea though, competitors have been using them for quite while now, I have been playing with one in my own car, and it's fun to be able to experiment a bit, however the well proven adjustable design gets me a lot of comments like "is that a potato gun?" or "why does your box have a sewer pipe on it?" Basically it isn't pretty (see below) I think that you would be best off designing a box for your specific drivers, and the types of music you listen to. A bad box can make a $1000 driver sound like ass, but a good box is bliss.
To change the port length I can cut some off, or easily replace the whole port, to reduce the box size I can invert the driver or attach small wood blocks inside of the box. I don't need to change the port width because 4" is already a bit small and increasing it would require the port to be longer, long enough to stick out the side window. My non adjustable box has a folded port over twice as long (55").
But it is not anywhere near being good looking.
