2001 Avalon replacement Subwoofer install question: Wires location

2001 Avalon XLS
JBL factory amp
JVC HD Head unit
GTO804 8" subwoofer

A. will this work?
B. if so, can it be done with factory wiring? the JVC is wired in using an adapter, so no wiring changes were made going to the sub or away form the sub. I cut the lead on the factory sub, and can't find the wires in the trunk anymore since I started this about 6 months ago. Yes, I am asking where the wires are. Yes, I am now aware that I should have had the OEM sub re-foamed. So I need to know the steps to take & materials to tie the GTO804 into the existing wiring, or if I need to make changes to the existing wiring.
Thanks.

Well, you're on your own for the subwoofer wires. if they're really really lost, you can look from where all the wires enter into the trunk, and look where they go.

When you find your wires just use electrical tape and solder. If soldering isnt your thing, just go with crimp/butt splices.

Unless the subwoofer drops in and all the holes line up, you can make a speaker braket adapter out of MDF wood.
