2009 Tacoma

Hello I just purchased a 09 Tacoma and I am looking for any information on hooking up an AVIC-F90BT. I currenlty have a post for the VSS wire and also looking for information on useing the stock Nav antenna on the roof if anyone has done this. I need help with hooking up the backup camera from the tailgate as well. Any information would be helpful Thank you.

i have a 2007 tacoma. i installed a kenwood dnx-6140. sorry don't know anything about AVIC-F90BT. but i do know how to ( thanks to badass03taco) hook up a back up camera up to your aftermarket radio. in fact i am going to hook it all up this week. i got the backup camera from a 07 tundra and bought a 09 Tacoma handle to hold the camera. and thanks again to badass03taco found out witch wires go where from the camera.
BLK-GRD
RED-12VOLT BACK UP LIGHTS
YELLOW-CENTER WIRE OF A RCA VIDIO WIRE
WHITE- SHIELDED PART OF WIRE ON THE RCA video wire
(TAKE A RCA WIRE CUT ONE END OF IT AND SEPERATE THE WIRES)
this does work because i hooked the black and red wire to a 9volt bat. and the yellow and white wire up as above and plugged the other end of the rca cable to my vcr and the camera worked.
hope that helps the last part of your question.
(also go to search at top of screen and type in backup camera tacoma) and look for the post that badass03taco put. (#5)

thats correct for the BU cam. you can actually tap these wires and have your cam output on both your f90 and rv monitor at the same time. as far as connection for the deck, check out the forums on avic411.com for info on how to bypass the video lockout and other neat tricks and hacks. If you have any other questions about the install that are not answered on that sit let me know. Good Luck!
