2009 Rav4 MP3 Folders, How to???

Okay here’s the problem,.

I have a 2009 RAV4 with the Nav system. I have burned an MP3 CD using I-Tunes and it works okay. Seeing that there was a button for FOLDERS I decided to burn a CD with multiple folders, with multiple MP3 files under each folder. I used Windows drag and drop.

Inserting this CD into the unit I received a “No Music” message. I read the manual and it does not say what the folder structure should look like or if the CD is Music or Data. I burned a bunch of different format and structured CDs and still “No Music”. I called Toyota and got “we’ll call you back”.
So how do I burn a CD with multiple folders of MP3 files and what is the folder structure? Can I use drag and drop?

Thanks

I have it. I just used Roxio and it wrote the CD with the folders. I then tested it and I can choose the folder (CD image) to Play. It will continue to play the next folder if I let it. Also it can shuffle all the folders or just the current folder.

Did you close the disc? Some drives won't read the disc unless you close it.

Thanks for the pointer. Yes I did close it out. Apperantly it was not in the proper format. I looked at the CD that Roxio created and it had some extra files in the root folder. I have no idea what they do, but I can tell you the CD worked.

Thanks again
