Basslink II/4sc MULTI CHANNEL AMP or Alpine MRP-F300 4 Channel Power Amplifier

I'm debating what I want to do to upgrade my stereo I was either going to get the basslink II with the 4sc multi chancel amp to power my front component speakers and rear 6x9s

The basslink II + 4sc mulit chanel amp = $305

Or should I skip the Basslink II and just buy a Alpine Amp such as the MRP-F300 and power the speakers that way.

Alpine MRP-F300 is $150

I have the factory Navigation in my 09 Corolla which I plan on keeping. I want to give my stereo some extra power sometimes I feel that I'd be fine without a powered sub but 6x9 and 6.5 components can't hit the lows the basslink could play. Which chose do you think is the way to go?

I would run both of these through the Crutchfield reviews and see how both units rate on their site. Not that I would buy these on Crutchfield but the reviews are pretty solid.

the advantage to that basslink is that the amp is built in. Usually those bass packages don't have very powerful amps, but if you're hard up for space, than those self amplified bass enclosures work best.

You should probably go with the alpine mrp F300 to power the speakers, then if you choose to go with a good sub, go with a nice class D mono amp just for the sub. But if you go that route, I would suggest getting an Optima Yellow top battery or Kinetik HC1400 battery as having 2 amps really puts a strain on the factory alternator which is only 70a. I have seen 120a and 150a alternators and those would be recommended when having multiple amps or if you happen to be powering subs with more than 2000+ rms watts!

I'm probably going to do the Big 3 Upgrade since my lights somewhat dim...here's my system in the trunk area:

and here's the new 3cf box I got yesterday
