Adding oem Gen 6 nav unit to non-jbl camry

Anyone ever tried adding an OEM nav unit to a non-jbl camry? People keep saying its really hard to do, but I have a feeling it isn't as bad as people say. I'm thinking you'd need a way to run a harness from the nav HU pre-out to the amp, and then a harness to run the amps output back to the normal speaker harness that goes in the non-jbl headunit. I've heard from oemvalue.com that theres a guy who sells a plug n' play harness just for this situation so it must be possible. Any ideas?

Is the harness missing? Being OEM it should be plug-n-play. Non-JBL should be no problem, but you mentioned amps, and I am wondering what amps you reference to? Installation is pretty simple and straightforward, but you need the harnesses from the unit to match up with the harnesses from the dash.

The harness' should come with the unit!? If not check with your local dealer parts dept. for the price of the harness alone for the OEM NAV unit, or take a look at the Rosen unit for the 2007- present Camry. Complete plug n play and looks exactly like a factory unit, but more funtional. Contact adschase@q.com if you want one.
