Question Thinking to add tweeter with passive crossover in New Camry

I am thinking to add a pair of tweeters on the left and right dashboard, they come with crossover. Can anyone help to advice the best way to install and instruction to remove panels on the dash and/or doors.

Your advice would be much appreciated.

Before you slap in a new tweeter, are you just adding an aftermakerket tweeter to the stock system?

If thats the case, you would be better off replacing the entire front speaker then just adding a tweeter.

The Camry is 2003 model.

The MB Quote tweeters are part my component systems, since the mid speakers have blown, I will still use front speakers (which is producing a good sound for no power amp standard) with additional tweeters with the crossover.

If you are installing a component system that is all MB Quart (very bright tweeters that you want as faw away from your ears as possible) then the crossover and everything else will work fine.

If you are mixing MB Quart tweeters with another brand, the Quart crossovers will not work correctly with the non-Quart brand and will probably send signals to the non-Quart speakers that they are unable to handle.

If you are not familiar with MB Quart I recommend listening to a car that has them installed. Many people find them very bright and hate them while many others love them. There seems to be no middle ground.

I went with ADS to avoid the possibility of hating MB Quart back when I was into blowing away insane dollars for stereo equipment

The corssover is only for the tweeters, besides the front speakers are two way speakers.

Do you know the best way to install them in Camry?

Well...you would probably have to drill holes in your dash if you want to make it look good. You'd might want to check if that will void your waranty.

I have seen tweeters on special stand from fible glass and some even specially moulded to suit the dash curves.

I tried to look around to find the best way to do serial connection to existing front speaker wires but I am having trouble to get to the cable to connect.

May be by removing the head unit will do the trick. How to remove the head unit from the dash?
