Yes, if you wire it right.

very easily. mono just means it only puts out one channel of sound, it should still have two seperate outputs for each speaker.

You also need to make sure your resistance rating on your subs are within the spec of your amps. Here's a snip from a audio forum explaining ohm's law as it pertains to car audio.

Quote:
Working daily selling subwoofers and amplifiers at an electronics store, I find myself using these equations several times throuought the day. They are used to calculate the Ohm load, or resistance, when using different wiring patterns for speakers, whether they be series, or parallel

Some amplifiers are 4 ohm stable, meaning they can handle a resistance load of 4 ohms. Other amplifiers are 2 ohm stable. Class D amplifiers are 1 ohm stable.

This equation is used when wiring 2 subwoofers in series.

When R is Resistance, then:

R1 + R2 = Total Load

For example: 4 ohms + 4 ohms = 8 ohm total load.

When wiring speakers in parallel, use this equation.

(R1 x R2) / (R1 + R2) = Total Load

For example: (4 ohms x 4 ohms) / (4 ohms + 4 ohms) = 2 ohm total load.

Using this equation will help you to select the right subwoofers to connect to your amplifier, so that you can get the optimal sound. Most subs are made in both 4 and 8 ohms, so if you can't find the ones you need, ask your retailer.

you can add much subwoofers to the mono amp, but it just has to be configured right. the subs total impeadance has to equal the amps lowest impeadance to get max power. right now i'm running a mono kenwood sub amp with two 12's wired at 2ohms. so it depends how you configure your subs and what your amp is rated at. the manufacturer instruction manual will explain how to hook up multiple subs, if you don't know how to.

parallel wiring will get you more power whereas series wiring increases the impedance which basically halves the power so to speak

But you got to remember not in all cases paralleling speakers will not provide you the most power, and that's a fact. it depends on the amps impeadance rating. because if you had dual 2 ohm sub with a mono amp that can handle 2 ohms at the lowest. If you parallel it then your going to break your amp. I guarantee it, unless your amp is really underated. Don't confuse the unexperience by making quotes and assumptions! Sorry not to come down on you hard, but lately no body has been giving good advice, so I'm trying to do my part.

actually that's true. I had forgotten to mention that. I almost damaged my subs that way...forgot that the 2 channel amp when bridged only supported 4ohm but I had wired 2 4ohm svc subs and hooked them up. They were loud, but luckily I had only powered them at medium to loud volumes for about 10 minutes. If I had blasted them any longer, probably that amp would've burned out as well...not to mention the fuse at the amp and maybe at the battery!

The OP will have to put 2 pairs of positive and negative into the leads of that amp. Most mono class d amps nowadays have 2 pairs of positive/negative which makes it easier if you're going to do a dual sub setup.
