Thanks to an online contact I'm in the process of getting a wiring harness that allows the use of this system (with a separetely purchased amp of course) in a non-jbl car. My problem is that I'd like to test the unit before I install it. I know that the unit runs on 12volts, and I've seen people power these suckers before using just two wires- presumably one leading to the ACC on lead and the other to the ground. Has anyone does this specifically and have experience on how to do it correctly? Should I just hook it up to my car battery or use something else? thanks
