Exclamation Pioneer Speakers....lower volume???

ok....i have 2 6x9 4-way pioneers in the back.....and two 3-way 6 1.5 inchers in the doors....i have recently noticed in the decline of the volume on my headunit.....they used to be very loud at about volume 14...now the same sound can only be reached at volume 18 or above....what the hell is goin on...do they need to be replaced or what??

I suggest you try volume 8 or 9. Or there is this great website where you can go and find out exactly what is wrong.

check positive and negatives? not sure, 'bout speakers....but w/ subs, if you cross the wires by accident while running 2 subs, they cancel each other out and become quiter than one by itself

no you arent going deaf youre just getting used to it.

like say you get a pretty quick car. when you first have it, it seems really fast. then later after you have drove it for awhile it doesnt seem as fast.
