Speakers that fit 2007 Corolla S?

I'm looking at replacing the factory speakers on my 2007 Corolla and have found only two types of speakers will fit in the 6x9 slot in the back and only about two that fit in the front 6.5 slot.

These are the Sonys which are located here..................

fronts

backs

Not really too impressed with these but it seems these are one of the few that will fit. The stock speakers are designed really shallow in the fronts and the Alpine Type S in the back stick up too high.

Any ideas on good speakers to put in this car with an aftermarket deck?

thanks for your help

you probably want to go with these for the front door:

these look shallow

I went with these for my 96 rolla in the front:

Luckily these barely fit!

For your rears, you can go with these 6x9's:

These are very good sounding for the price. Crutchfield is not the place to go if you're looking for price, but if you want to do it yourself and this is your first time or 2nd time, then it's good to buy a head unit from them because they have the exact wiring harness and any installation kits for free. But for other components like speakers, amps, subs, look elsewhere!

Onlinecarstereo.com offers free shipping over $99 and they're MUCH cheaper than crutchfield! OCS is the first place I look for car audio components such as Dynamat Extreme packages! =p

how do the Lanzars sound compared to Alpines? Do you still get good bass out of these speakers?

Yes, Crutchfield is expensive. But its good to do the research there because they research your actual car hands on and then measure the fitment. I do Ebay for my speakers.

the bass on the lanzars sound equally good as the alpines but for a fraction of the cost...well that is if you buy it from onlinecarstereo.com. Anywhere else retail, it's about the same as the alpines retail or msrp

Hifonics speakers are very good as well
