free batteries for ur car-

my car battery died 2 days ago, and only now i got to getting a new one..
but check this:

go to SEARS- and by urself a DIEHARD battery...its about 80$...it has a 3 yr full time warranty...they literally give u a new battery if ur battery dies before three yrs...i saved myself about 80$...and in about 2 yrs or so, i will be able to save another 80$...jus keep in mind that there is a sticker that comes with the battery where it says the date...
also- the serial number imprinted on the top battery is another way for them to tell the date... first digit is a letter,2nd digit is a number...
ex: B4= Feb 2004...

hope this helps and atleast saves somebody 80$...made my weekend...

we prorate batteries where I work, so you have to pay for the years/months you have used your battery, 75 month battery that lasted 25 months you pay 1/3 of the price for the battery. Sears is great though, if you lose a socket or something just break the wrench and they'll give you a new set. We had 1 broken screwdriver and they gave us a whole new set.

Its the same at Walmart with their Energizer and Everready batteries. They also have free replacement for a certain # of years depending on the quality of the baterry u buy. then after the free replacement period is up, then they prorate the battery.
