replacing stereo in 08 corolla

Hi,

I was wondering:

1) How can I take out the huge cd/radio player
2) Can it be replaced with Pioneer AVH-P6000DVD or something similar.

Thanks

looks like it will fit. I plugged in your car assuming you don't have the JBL factory radio, just the plain factory and 4 speakers..

http://www.crutchfield.com/p_130AVHP....html?tp=20217

if you order it from crutchfield, you'll get the wiring harness, installation kit and master data sheets free. the Master data sheets will show you how to remove your factory radio and how to access and replace your speakers. Crutchfield though isn't always the cheapest place, but if you're a DIY, then they include everything and you'll know you'll get the exact wiring harness

It's not necesarily free. the cost is included in the price of the unit. You can get the components from other online retailers for less, but you don't get the explicit walk-throughs included in the box.

If you've done it before in another vehicle, you can save some cash by getting all the parts separately. I bought my stereo from J&R online, and the wiring harness/dash trim came from Amazon. It all depends on whether you trust yourself to do it without explicit instructions and that you order the right parts.

Now, to buy a replacement for everything since mine was stolen last week in my apartment complex parking lot...

well like I said, crutchfield isn't the cheapest, but they do have very nice tech support people to walk you through it on the phone or live chat.

You definitely can find the parts cheaper. I only buy certain things from crutchfield
