Tacoma HU install help

Hey everyone! Need some help installing a head unit
I've searched, trust me and I'm not getting anything that makes any sense to me so here we go. Unit is an Alpine IXA-W404. I have a few questions actually. Unit is installed and working with the basics. My main problems are the bypassing of the stupid ebrake bullshit required with these decks to even change the damn date and time? wtf. You seriously cannot even change the date/time/colors any options without the parking brake/footbrake setup installed. I tried using switches, yeah it works but then I got two ugly ass switches hanging down somewhere and I really don't want to have them right now. so until I find a set of switches and make a hidden bracket I'd rather just set it up proper with the brake wires being tapped to just change the clock at least. Can anyone tell me which wires/where they are to tap into to connect to the parking brake and the footbrake wires. I don't wanna start clamping onto random wires and mess something up. IS a simple squeeze connector sufficient?
Second I have the backup camera wires hooked up to the plug I found in a previous searc but wondering if someone can let me know what wire I tap to to allow the unit to realize its in reverse so the camera comes on. I guess like a sensor wire?

sorry for the long post but wanted to give as much details as possible. Truck is an 09 with the backup camera but mirror not included.

I also posted this in the tacoma forum so I'm hoping some help between the forums will give me an answer I can figure out haha
Thanks for any help!

With most Alpine HU's you can simply just ground out the parking brake wire. You will need to put a switch on the parking brake wire though. The switch, when flipped on, will act as though it is signaling to the computer that the car is park. Other compainies such as Kenwood, you do not have to have a switch. You can just gorund out the parking brake wire. I would give this a try and see what happens.
