Subs have a heartbeat?

My subwoofers seem to make a heartbeat sound either when the music is low or when there is no music playing.

Has anyone experienced this before?

that's probably extra noise or interference in your signal. but I haven't experienced it yet. do you have a noise problems?

No, it happens even when the music is muted. The sound quality is great once the volume reaches a certain level

it is probably a bad ground. recheck your grounds and make sure it is grounded to bare metal
