How to get to the Root folder?

So, I've put in a lot of work creating 6 MP3 CDs, and am really enjoying having them in the car. When I hit Random, I'd like it to randomize from the root level, and not the individual folders. It was doing it at one point, but now it doesn't, and I can't figure out how to get it back there. It used to say "Root" instead of 1, 2, 3, etc for the folder. Same CD.

Any guidance?

It depends on what type of cd mp3 player you have Stock or aftermarket. I know all my aftermarket decks have couple different random button selections and I would have the choice of randomizing the folder and the entire cd/dvd. I think it depends on your options provided by your deck. and to be honest if it's stock you may have to just throw all your mp3 in one folder so you can randomize that folder. look at your MANUAL. good luck!

Sorry, I should have clarified. OEM 6 disc, non JBL. If it was after market, I wouldn't have posted in TN. Sorry for the confusion.

OK, I answered this for myself. I wanted to have random song selection across folders. If you hit the Random button, it stays within a folder.

If you hold the random button down, then it offers you to randomize at the disc level. I also figured out that you can hold down the Repeat button for different repeat options.

I figured it out after driving my wife's Subie Outback. There's only 1 button for random and repeat, with Random coming from holding the button down.
