you answered your question. your sub is 4 ohms so follow your amp manual as is. Straight foward hook up. positive terminal with positive terminal and negative terminal with negative terminal. Good luck.

See if the amp itself has a diagram. Normally you use the pos on one channel and the neg on the other to bridge it. No idea which ones you use on your amp though since you don't mention the model number. There may be a diagram on the amp.
thanks big that actually pretty helpful,
im guessing mine is a single voice coil?
my sub came with the box its an mtx sub in a thunder box and all the wires inside are like glued together for reinforcement i guess
i beleive that is a dual voice coil. its easy to know, how many +/- terminals is on the sub? if you only have 1 set then single voice coil, if you have 2 then dual and so on.
so a dual voice coil you would setup like this diagram
after researching a bit you may have a funny type of subwoofer, but may actually be a single voice coil. according to a thread i read one terminal is the voice coil and the other is to allow you to hook up another subwoofer (ive never personally seen this), but you should verify to be sure. here is the thread i read from
ill take the sub outta the box and check myself to see how many terminals there are because the box only has the 2 and i cant tell from the outside ill take the sub out
k so i took the sub outta the box and took a picture of the sub wiring, it came like this from the manufacturer so im guessing its already wired to 4 ohms? i just gotta plug it into a bridge amp?
this is what it looks like on the amp:
and here it is on the sub box:
positive to positive and negative to negative (wire from amp to sub)
would this be right for 4 ohms bridged?
there for my sub would be getting the full 200 RMS watts bridged that the amp is capable of doing?
oh yea forsure, its not hooked up in my car yet just got it in my room waiting for my car to come outta the shop, then im gonna buy some more quality wire, is scosche wire good quality? the speaker wire from the sub box to the amp right?

There isn't too much difference between wire unless you're looking at something like tinned wire. Something 14AWG or bigger should be fine.

no, i mean if your pockets are tight then you gota do what you gotta do. i would replace all the wire to include the wire from the sub to the inside terminal. knukonceptz has good products.
