speaker wire Q...

i need something that will take 1 set of R and L speaker wire and let me convert that into 2 sets. Basically so i can take the speaker wire from my 6X9's in the back of my camry and have one set of wire go to them and 1 set go to my sub amp since my factory headunit has no RCA connections...i can hook speaker wire up to my... just i need to split the wire into 2 positions, anyone know what this kind of "converter" is called

I believe you are talking about a LLC (line Level Converter)...

When going LLC, it is best to spend the extra money to get a good one, as a cheap one will add load onto your factory amp, and could cause problems...

I recommend Legacy LLC's...No Load! around $150 a piece I believe...

? you may as well splice....as long as you solder it and heat shrink it, there'll be no loss of quality.....
