IIRC, i was able to fit my 6.5" component speaker in the stock bracket, but I had to hack it up a bit to fit. I would recommend that you get custom wood baffles made for your car.

I don't want to do too many modifications to my car, so I'm wondering if I could get away with little to no changes.

So....apparently another forum member claims that he has the non-shallow fit model in his 94 Camry and it fit without any problems. Anyone else try it as well?

Alright, general consensus seems to be that these 6.5 inch speakers will fit in my 96 Camry...planning on picking up 2 orders to replace the 4 stock speakers in my camry (2 front, 2 rear deck). Trying to save some money...so unless there's a good deal on some 6x9s for the rear deck, I guess these will have to do.
