Reprogramming Alarm Remote

I have the stock VIP system on my 96 Camry. I think the previous owner disabled it because he lost the remotes. When I bought the car all I got was a key.

Anyways; is there anyway I can reprogram a remote from another manufacturer to work with my VIP system? If not, then where can I get a remote that works with this system (other than Dealership)? Is there anyway I can reprogram it myself? Help me out fellas!

The remotes can be found on Ebay for diry cheap. Seeing as how you don't even have the original, I'm not sure how you're going to go about getting the right one. This is usually done be matchin the FCC cose on the back of the remote. Maybe somebody can else can post their FCC code for you.

As for programming the remote, SilverStreak has posted the info in the past (see below). Not sure if it works or not.

What if I go to the dealership and have them tell me which remote I need, then I buy the same one off of Ebay? Would I be able to reprogram it myself and have it work?
