Changing LED in stereo

Someone took the time to make a DIY (I though it was rayray) on how to change the lights on an aftermarket stereo face. I searched, couldn't find anything, but if anyone has a lead, let me know.

All new install coming soon too

The old system is pretty much completely gone (wires and deadening still there).

Did new kickpanel molds today... I actually moved all the wiring in both kickpanel areas out of the way up under the dash for more room I'll have a different web page for the new install too.

Hey Mark, welcome back! Are you back home or still deployed?

You scrapped the system and started rebuilding again?! I'm anxious to see what you've got up your sleeve now

thanks guys Sorry it has been so long... I actually got back last December, but it has been a rollercoaster ride since then. Sold my house this past weekend even (well, have a buyer at least), and in a few months I'm moving about 1500 miles... EEK!! Gotta have the system ready by then for that drive!!

Lineup looking like this:

HU: Eclipse CD8443
Kickpanel speakers: Morel Supremos and Morel Hybrid 4" midranges on the Morel MX-22 passive crossover
Kickpanel amp: Tru C2
Door speakers: Morel Elate 9" (yes, 9" midbass in my doors)
Door amp: 2 channels of a Soundstream Edge 4220
Subwoofer: eD 120.14
Subwoofer amp: 2 channels of the Soundstream Edge 4220 bridged

The two amps and passive crossovers I am installing on the rear deck I didn't want to take up room in my trunk, so....

The sub will go in a fiberglass molded enclosure in the left corner of my trunk. I'll have the start of the webpage up soon... it will be tutorial style like the old one

I'm a huge fan of Morel (Morel Israel that is). They have a brand new line this year for car audio stuff as well. They are trying to get dealers around the country right now... if anyone is interested in buying any of their stuff, email me and I'll put you in touch with the right people at Morel.

Anyway, the amps are not too big. The Tru C2 is like 10" by 12" by 2", the Soundstream is 11" by 18" by 2.2". They and the passive crossovers will fit easily across the rear deck. I plan on making a tub of sorts for the stuff to sit in, and I'll trim the rear deck trim piece to fit. I'll throw some kind of perforated metal cover over the tub area to keep out prying eyes too.

wouldnt there be a problem with heat from the amps? or would the preforated metal be sufficient? or are you goin to put in lil fans either way it sounds like its goin to be on great project!

I think the perforated metal will give it enough flow... if it gets too hot, i'll throw in some fans
