How do these compare?

First off I build engines not sound systems so this shit is all Greek to me.
I have/had a fosgate HE2 but a screw driver handle ended up going thru it when the box flipped over in my trunk and I'm thinking about replacing it with an Audiobahn AW1051T.
With the HE2 I could shake things in my garage nowhere near my car, I mean it almost hurt to be in the car with the windows up, now assuming I just drop in the Audiobahn sub and make no other changes can I expect the same qualities exhibited by the HE2?

They'll be similar. I'd think the Rockford would be the all-round better sub. How old is that model?
