Question Any advice/pointers for hardwiring a radar detector?
My fiance got a radar detector (Beltronics) and wants me to hardwire it like I did my V1 in my VW Golf. Just wondering if anyone has done this before can give me some pointers.

edit: It's a 2004 Corolla S. Should've mentioned that!

It's purrrty simple.. find yourself an ignition only line under the dash.. n put it on that. As in, that line ONLY gets power when the key is sitting in the ON position. So it would go, OFF, ACC, ON, START .. or however it is for your 2004. Use a multi-meter to probe around on the wire harness for the ignition switch.
